My husband and I took our son to your Epping NH store this evening for a cut. He is 6 years old and one barber has been doing his hair since he was 9 months old. I’ve strayed a couple of times to different salons, including another one of your locations, but I’ve never been happy with the quality of the cut. All I that changed today when Caitlyn cut his hair. He is usually very apprehensive of getting his haircut but he went right to her chair and did a wonderful job sitting still and quiet for her. Caitlyn was very professional, even asking if I wanted her to enter the specific information for his cut in your computer system so any stylist would know what we were looking for in a cut. I told her that Chris is very particular about who he wants to cut his hair so depending how he felt after this experience that she may be his stylist of choice…..and upon leaving he said he wants her to cut his hair from now on. She did a terrific job on what I would call a barber-precise cut for him. He looks great and we are more than happy with our experience with Caitlyn. I hope she is rewarded for her professionalism as well as the quality of her work.
I brought my three small children in for a hair cut around 3pm on 1/31/13. They are 3 1/2 year old twins and a 16 month old, so haircuts are often a challenge. I was so impressed with the patience and skill your staff showed with managing my children. My 3 1/2 year old son is particularly afraid of having his hair cut, to the point that at different salons in the past we have had to leave half way through a haircut because of his behavior. The gentleman who cut my son’s hair today, was particularly excellent in winning my son’s trust. He was careful, mindful of my son’s concerns (he’s afraid of the hairdryer and clippers), and had a wonderfully calm manner that put my son at ease – so much so that by the end of the haircut, he was chatting with the barber about his toys and his day at preschool. I was so pleased with the positive experience we had with all of your stylists, but with the gentleman who worked with my son in particular. I wish I had gotten his name, but hopefully you can check the store schedule and see who he was – he was the only man working at the time – and extend our thanks and compliments. I will certainly be bringing my children back to your salon in the future! Thanks for the great service.
I have worn my hair up day after day for about 6 years now because it was just helpless! Dry, brittle, unmanageable! I have extremely thin hair and assumed there was no hope. Every time I go to get my hair cut, I tell them to just cut it as short as you can as long as I can still throw it up in a pony tail. When I walked into the salon last week I was greeted by a girl named Amanda D. She asked what she could help me with and I told her I just needed a cut and a few foils. She took me to her chair and started to ask questions like “Why do you only wear your hair up, what don’t you like about it, etc.” She started to explain treatments to me that I didn’t even know existed and explained that well water is not good for your hair. I assumed this was a sales gimmick but let her price out a pretreatment, karatin treatment, cut and hightlight for me. I was shocked at how inexpensive it all was so I went for it with no expectations but figured, it can’t get much worse. Amanda was great, she explained everything she was doing and the order she was doing it and why. I must say, I learned a lot. I could tell she had a true passion for this and I felt like I was a makeover experience for her. I must say to have someone take the time to explain why my hair was so brittle and how to change it was just what I needed. After all of the treatments and highlights, she wouldn’t let me see it until she was finished with styling. When she turned me towards the mirror, I was shocked! I had no idea my hair could actually look presentable! I have been wearing my hair down for a week now and have shocked every family member, friend and coworker. I think there should be about 30 people hitting Supercuts any day now to get a pretreatment for their well water hair! LOL! Amanda D. deserves a pat on the back for sure because I have never come across a hairdresser that cared so much about not just the hair, but the person. I am so thankful and will be visiting her religiously!
I went to Supercuts in Waterville Maine on Feb 3rd and got an awesome service from Frannie. She listened to what I asked for and gave me a great haircut. During the haircut I asked about getting my eyebrows waxed and she was more then accommodating. She did not rush or give the impression of “hurrying” to get through the haircut and eyebrow waxing. I am TOTALLY going back for eyebrow maintenance and my future haircuts because of Frannie (who I will call ahead and request!). I also want to say thank you for keeping your prices reasonable for the average working American.
I was in a complete hair nightmare driving around trying to find a hair salon open on a Sunday. There are no full service Salons in our area open. I happened upon a SuperCuts in Scarborough, Maine. I walked in and was very nervous to even give it a shot. I walked to the register and there a young woman greeted me and I was still NERVOUS! Haley was my hairdresser and can I tell you she gave me the best hair experience ever! A young woman 34 weeks pregnant truly made my hair nightmare a blessing. I haven’t stopped smiling since she gave me the best hairstyle EVER. She was patient & gentle. For a woman that far a long in her pregnancy to not be whiney or complain about her job was so refreshing, Supercuts has a GEM in Haley! I wanted to give her kuddos in being a marvelous human being and she totally gave me faith in SuperCuts! I will be looking for Haley after her maternity leave to trim my hair and have a nice chat.
I took my six-year-old granddaughter to your salon at 45 Dodge Street in Beverly MA. She had a ballet recital; and no matter how I try, it’ s impossible to get her hair into a tight bun. The young women at your salon made her feel welcomed and special. They did an incredible job. I most of all was impressed with how well all customers were treated. Some of them were very elderly but were treated with kindness and dignity. In this day of “surly” service, these women are special!
